TN CM Stalin: Hindi Has No Place in Tamil Nadu — Past, Present, or Future
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin said that there is no place for Hindi in the state, now, in the past, or in the future. He made the statement in a social media post, stressing that Tamil Nadu will continue to protect its language and culture.
The Chief Minister added that the state would not allow anyone to impose Hindi on its people. He said that no more lives should be lost over language issues, referring to past protests in Tamil Nadu where people fought to protect their mother tongue.
CM Stalin emphasized that Tamil is an important part of the state’s identity and must be preserved. He urged citizens to respect the language and its heritage. The statement comes amid ongoing debates about the use of Hindi in official and educational contexts in southern states. Officials said the government remains committed to promoting Tamil in schools, offices, and public life.
