He highlighted India’s large-scale development plans, policy stability, and technological ambition as key advantages for the sector.
Speaking to industry leaders, the Prime Minister said only a few countries in the world combine rapid growth potential with supportive policies and advanced technology initiatives. He urged businesses to invest in airports, air cargo, and related infrastructure to tap into these opportunities.
Modi emphasized that India is committed to expanding its civil aviation footprint, including regional connectivity, modern airports, and air traffic management systems. He said initiatives like UDAN and private-sector participation have created a strong foundation for growth.
Officials noted that the Prime Minister’s remarks were aimed at energizing investors and global partners. He also encouraged innovation in aircraft manufacturing, drone technology, and aerospace research.
