Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sinha said the anti-encroachment drive after March will begin in full force across Bihar. Sinha made the announcement in the state assembly while answering questions about illegal occupation of public land. He said the anti-encroachment drive after March is part of a mission to clear government land and roads for public use.
Sinha told lawmakers that the campaign will start after March and continue until encroachers are removed. He used the analogy of bitter medicine, saying it may be hard at first but will bring good results.
Opposition members raised concerns about delays and staff strikes in revenue offices. Sinha assured them that challenges will be handled and no illegal encroachment will be left untouched. He also reiterated his commitment to freeing public spaces for development and ensuring better law enforcement in rural and urban areas.
