Bihar weather has turned unstable as rain, strong winds, and fog disrupted normal life in several districts. Many areas reported sudden storms and light rainfall in the past 24 hours. Farmers and commuters faced problems due to the sudden change in conditions. Bihar weather may remain unstable for the next few days, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The weather department said northeastern and north-central parts of the state recorded light to moderate rainfall. Strong winds and cloudy skies affected districts in the Kosi and Seemanchal regions. Some farmers reported minor crop damage after the sudden storm and rain.
The IMD has issued a yellow alert for several districts from March 15 to March 17. Thunderstorms, lightning, and winds reaching 40–50 km/h may occur in many areas during this period.
Officials said temperatures may fall by 2–4°C over the next few days. Weather conditions are expected to stabilize once the current system weakens later next week.
