Medical Colleges CCTV Monitoring will soon begin in medical institutions across the country. The National Medical Commission (NMC) has introduced strict rules to ensure doctors remain present in hospitals and colleges. Medical Colleges CCTV Monitoring aims to improve discipline and transparency in medical education.
Under the new guidelines, doctors must stay in medical colleges from 9 AM to 4 PM. Authorities will track their presence through CCTV cameras installed across campuses. If doctors remain absent during duty hours, the concerned department may lose recognition for postgraduate (PG) courses.
The NMC has also set additional standards for medical colleges. Hospitals must maintain at least 80% bed occupancy and keep 15% ICU beds reserved for PG training. Colleges must also maintain digital records of OPD visits, lab tests, and patient data.
These measures aim to improve medical training quality and ensure better healthcare services for patients.
