A case of Making Reels on Duty in Bihar Police has created controversy in Khagaria district. A female sub-inspector posted at Parbatta police station allegedly recorded social media reels while wearing her police uniform and shared them online. The videos quickly went viral and caught the attention of senior police officers.
Officials say Making Reels on Duty in Bihar Police breaks departmental rules. Police headquarters had earlier warned officers not to record or upload personal videos while in uniform or during duty hours. Despite these instructions, the officer reportedly posted reels on Instagram using popular film songs.
After the videos spread widely on social media, Gogri SDPO Sakshi Kumari took notice and ordered a report on the incident. The officer later deleted the reels from her account, but several copies had already circulated online.
Police officials called the act a serious violation of discipline. The report will now go to the district SP for review. If the charges are confirmed, the female SI may face strict departmental action, including suspension from service.
