Hyderabad: Veteran Team India leg-spinner Amit Mishra has officially announced his retirement from all formats of international cricket. Over a remarkable 25-year career, the 42-year-old spinner represented India in 22 Test matches, 36 One-Day Internationals (ODIs), and 10 T20 Internationals.
Mishra expressed gratitude to everyone who supported him throughout his cricketing journey, from teammates and coaches to fans. Known for his consistency and match-winning spells, Mishra made a significant mark in the Indian Premier League (IPL) as well. He ranks as the seventh-highest wicket-taker in IPL history with 174 wickets. Notably, he is the only bowler in IPL history to have achieved three hat-tricks , highlighting his ability to turn games with his bowling brilliance.
