Chandrababu Naidu, approved several important decisions focused on employee welfare, infrastructure, industry, and development. One of the biggest highlights of the AP Cabinet Meeting was the increase in the retirement age for employees working in government-run corporations, societies, and residential educational institutions.
The cabinet approved a proposal to raise the retirement age to 62 years. Thousands of employees across public sector organizations are expected to benefit from this decision.
The government also cleared the tender process for the ambitious Amaravati Eye project. It approved measures to support reservoir-based cage culture and accelerate work on major irrigation projects, including Polavaram.
To boost investment and connectivity, the cabinet approved the new AP Aviation Policy 2026. It also granted stamp duty and registration fee exemptions for land allocated to the Quantum Valley project in Amaravati.
Several tourism, finance, and governance proposals also received approval, reflecting the state’s focus on growth and public welfare.
