Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced that Amaravati development projects worth ₹50,000 crore will be completed within the next three years. Speaking at a conclave in Amaravati, he assured that farmers who gave their land will gain as the capital grows into a global city. He compared Amaravati’s future to Hyderabad, where land once cost ₹1 lakh per acre but now sells for ₹100 crore.
Naidu confirmed that Amaravati’s infrastructure will be ready by 2028. He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the capital city. He also promised that the Polavaram Project will be completed by 2027. Once these projects finish, private investments in education, industries, and the knowledge economy will rise sharply.
Linking Amaravati’s future with Swarnandhra 2047 and Viksit Bharat 2047, Naidu set ambitious goals. Andhra Pradesh’s GSDP is targeted to touch ₹29.29 lakh crore by 2028-29 and ₹57.21 lakh crore by 2029-34. Per capita income could reach ₹10.55 lakh by 2029-34.
Naidu emphasized that welfare and development must progress together. Through Super Six schemes and irrigation projects like the Banakacharla canal, he said Andhra Pradesh will ensure prosperity for farmers and long-term growth for future generations.
