A new trend called AI Robot Training Jobs is helping Indian women earn money from home. In Chennai, a 25-year-old homemaker is earning around Rs 250 per hour by recording everyday household activities using a smartphone attached to her head.
The videos show simple tasks such as making coffee, cutting fruits, folding clothes, and cleaning. AI companies use this first-person footage to teach humanoid robots how humans perform routine activities inside homes.
According to reports, the woman records more than 90 short clips each day. The footage helps robots understand movement, object handling, and decision-making in real-world environments.
Experts say India is becoming an important hub for collecting data that powers future AI and robotics systems. The work offers flexible income opportunities, especially for homemakers and workers seeking part-time jobs.
The story has sparked debate online. While many people see it as an easy way to earn money, others worry that workers may be helping develop robots that could replace some jobs in the future.
