Prashant Kishor targets Samrat Chaudhary after the Bihar government won the floor test in the state assembly. He claimed the majority did not reflect public support. He said money and political pressure helped the government secure the numbers.
Speaking in Khagaria, Kishor said the support of 202 MLAs does not prove real strength. He alleged that leaders secured support by offering ₹10,000. According to him, such support cannot represent the people of Bihar.
He also questioned the political situation in the state. Kishor said a leader with strong public backing would not leave the chief minister’s post and go to the Rajya Sabha.
The Bihar Assembly held a special one-day session for the trust vote. The government won the vote after a discussion that lasted nearly 100 minutes.
With these remarks, Prashant Kishor targets Samrat Chaudhary and challenges the legitimacy of the government’s majority in the assembly.
