Tejashwi Yadav May Form Government, Says OP Rajbhar

Tejashwi Yadav may form government in Bihar

Uttar Pradesh minister Om Prakash Rajbhar has made a bold statement that Tejashwi Yadav may form government in Bihar. Rajbhar, who leads the Subhaspa party allied with the NDA, said that the NDA will lose power in the Bihar assembly elections. He believes that the RJD led by Tejashwi Yadav may form government in Bihar if voter turnout crosses 60 percent.

Rajbhar added that high voting percentages in Bihar usually bring victory to the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). He even cited past elections when Lalu Prasad Yadav came to power with voter turnouts above 60 percent — in 1990, 1995, and 2000.

Currently, Bihar is voting in two phases. The first phase saw an impressive 65 percent turnout, the highest ever in state elections. Rajbhar argues this trend signals trouble for the ruling NDA. He mentioned that chaos among political parties like AIMIM and Prashant Kishore’s group shows that people’s mood is unpredictable but leaning toward change.

The second phase on November 11 will decide whether this claim turns true.
