Tenders called for 76 Young India Integrated Residential Schools: Telangana Minister
The Telangana government has called tenders for 76 Young India Integrated Residential Schools, Minister for Education announced on Monday. The initiative is part of a broader plan to establish 105 such schools across the State.
The total project cost for all 105 schools is estimated at ₹21,000 crore. Officials said the schools will provide high-quality education, modern facilities, and residential infrastructure for students from rural areas.
According to the Minister, the new schools aim to enhance learning opportunities and reduce educational disparities. They will follow a well-structured curriculum and focus on skill development, technology, and holistic growth.
The tender process covers construction, infrastructure, and other facilities for the schools. Authorities said timelines will be closely monitored to ensure timely completion.
The Minister added that these schools will generate employment opportunities for teachers, staff, and support services in the local areas. He said the project reflects the State government’s commitment to improving education for all children. Officials also emphasized that modern teaching methods, digital classrooms, and sports facilities will be part of the design. The schools are expected to set a benchmark for residential education in Telangana.
