The Bihar Highest Lowest Margin Seats report shows how sharply voters were divided in the recent Assembly elections. In many places, the fight was so close that every single vote changed the result. This election again highlighted the importance of Bihar Highest Lowest Margin Seats, especially where victory depended on only a few dozen votes.
Nitish Kumar will form the new government with the support of 202 NDA MLAs. He will take oath as Chief Minister for the 10th time. Samrat Chaudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha will serve as Deputy Chief Ministers. Nearly 20 ministers from NDA parties will also take oath.
In 11 seats, candidates won or lost by less than 1,000 votes. Two seats had margins below 50. These seats were shared among the RJD, JDU, LJP-R, Congress, BJP and BSP. The biggest win came from Rupauli, where JDU’s Kaladhar Mandal won by more than 73,000 votes. The smallest margin was 27 votes, in Sandesh.
Sixteen candidates won with margins above 50,000 votes. BJP won nine of these seats, JDU six, and LJP-R one. Some extremely close contests included Ramgarh, where BSP’s Satish Yadav won by 30 votes, and Agiaon, where BJP’s Mahesh Paswan won by 95 votes.
