The Nitish Kumar Samriddhi Yatra reached Supaul district on Tuesday, where the Bihar Chief Minister launched several development projects and interacted with women from Jeevika self-help groups. The Nitish Kumar Samriddhi Yatra aims to review government schemes and connect directly with local communities.
During the visit, the Chief Minister stayed in Nirmali for around two and a half hours. He inaugurated and laid the foundation for 213 development projects worth about ₹569 crore in the district. These projects include infrastructure and welfare schemes that will benefit rural and urban residents, youth, and women.
Nitish Kumar also inspected development works, visited departmental stalls, and held a review meeting with district officials. Later, he addressed a public interaction program and spoke with members of the Jeevika groups.
The Chief Minister sought feedback from Jeevika Didis about livelihood programs, women employment schemes, and youth entrepreneurship initiatives started by the state government. Officials said the interaction will help improve these schemes and strengthen women’s economic participation in Bihar.
