The Red Fort car bomb blast investigation has uncovered major details about how the accused planned the deadly attack. The National Investigation Agency (NIA) said the main suspect used a fake online identity to buy chemicals and equipment for making explosives.
According to the NIA, the accused secretly set up a small laboratory inside a rented flat in Faridabad. Investigators found that he learned bomb-making techniques and carried out chemical experiments before the Red Fort car bomb blast.
The agency also filed a 7,500-page chargesheet against 10 accused linked to the terror conspiracy. Officials said the group had connections with Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind, an offshoot of Al-Qaida in the Indian Subcontinent. The blast near Delhi’s Red Fort in November 2025 killed 11 people and injured several others.
